Gianyar Regency, the crafting and culture arts center in Bali Island

Gianyar Regency knowns for the carving and painting arts products which is produce by the locals engravers. The crafts are hand made carved made from woods, stones, silvers and fibers and other raw materials. Lot of Gianyar's arts products mostly the crafts sell around Bali and exported abroad. The local architectures, historical and cultural building and culture arts performance wearing the Balinese traditional costumes and masks are the tourist attraction in Gianyar Regency area.  Geographic position of Gianyar Regency is 08º 18′ 52” – 08º 38′ 00” South Latitude and 115º 05′ 29” – 115º 22′ 23” East Longitude. Gianyar Regency borders are with Klungkung Regency and Bangli Regency in east side, Denpasar City and Badung Strait at south, with Badung Regency at west side and with Bangli Regency at north side. Buleleng Regency, the largest district in north Bali

Buleleng Regency in north part of Bali Island occupied the largest area in Bali Province. The regency in North Bali stretches form northeast side to westernmost area in Bali Island. Buleleng Regency total area is 1,365,88 square kilometers with 144 kilometers length shorelines. The West Bali National Park or Taman National Bali Barat, the only national park in Bali Province administratively is in Buleleng Regency area. Buleleng Regency landscape consist of highlands, valleys, rivers, waterfalls, shoreline and endemic species in Bali Island. Buleleng Regency geographically located at 08º 3′ 40” – 08º 23′ 00” South Latitude and 114º 25′ 55” – 115º 27′ 28” East Longitude. Administrative borders of Buleleng Regency are Karangasem Regency in east side, Bangli Regency, Badung Regency, Tabanan Regency and Jembrana Regency at south side, Bali Straits at west side and Bali Sea at north side. The capital of Buleleng Regency is in Singaraja, Buleleng Subdistrict at the middle of the regency.

Bangli Regency, the only district in Bali Island which have no beach area

Bangli Regency is the only district in Bali Province which has no shoreline or beach area. But the regency has a great mountainous areas and a lake in Kintamani highlands. Mount Batur volcano and its caldera is lied in Bangli Regency highland area. The fertile soils surrounding Mount Batur volcano residues providing agriculture and forestry for the regency. Beautiful landscape of mountains, lakes, valleys, rivers, paddy fields and the local cultures attract tourists visiting the district and generate the tourism industry in Bangli Regency.  Geographically, Bangli Regency located at 08º 8′ 30” – 08º 31′ 07” South Latitude and 115º 13′ 43” – 115º 27′ 24” East Longitude. Badung Regency, the richest district in Bali for tourism industry

Badung Regency is the highest regency achieved benefits from the tourism industry in Bali. Based on Bali in figures, 2022, there are 443 classified accommodations at Badung Regency in 2018, and decreased to 394 accommodation in 2019, and again decreased to 289 classified accommodations in 2020 and increased to 308 classified accommodations in 2021. The number of the accommodation decreased for time range 2018 to 2020, but the number of rooms increased from 44,571 rooms in 2018 to 49,406 rooms in 2019 and decreased to 23,650 rooms in 2020 and the increased to 39,219 rooms in 2021. And the number of beds also increased from 66.654 beds in 2018 to 67,233 beds in 2019 and 45,700 rooms in 2020, but increased to 52,636 rooms in 2021.  Geographic location of Badung Regency is 08º 14′ 20” – 08º 50′ 48” South Latitude and 115º 05′ 00” – 115º 26′ 16” East Longitude. Denpasar City the capital of Bali Province got its famous as the centre of the God's Island. The only city in the island is the Bali's government officials and Denpasar City government center. It is also the Bali's economic centers and the most dense area in Bali Province.  Based on the Indonesia law about local governance, an area have to meet minimum condition to be approved as a city. The condition based on the total area, the total population, area's borders, area's scopes and time range the previous governance approved. The condition including the aspects of geographic, demographic, safety and defense, social, politic, culture, economic, finance and the ability to run the governance's administrative.  D

Indonesia governmental structure ruled in Undang-Undang Republic Indonesia Nomor 9 tahun 2015 tentang Perubahan Kedua atas Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah. The local government law classified that the local governments are Provincial level or Provinsi which consists of some Regencies/Districts or Kabupaten, and/or a city or some cities or Kota. Regency or city consists of some sub-districts or Kecamatan and sub-district consists of some village or desa and/or kelurahan.  Province local government lead by a governor and have the provincial senates member. The Regency or District local government lead by head of district or Bupati, and a city lead by a mayor or Walikota. Village or Desa lead by head of village or Kepala Desa. Sub-district or Kecamatan is a supporting local government which lead by Camat. Governor, Head of District and Head of village are chosen by local election, meanwhile head of sub-district or Camat is chosen by the Head of District

Mount Bratan, the Ancient Volcano in North Bali

Mount Bratan which also known as Buyan-Bratan have obvious volcanic complex features in north-central Bali. The volcano have beautiful scenery with Lake Beratan in located next to Mount Bratan and Mount Catur. The most known landmark in Mount Bratan is the Balinese Hinduism temple in the Bratan Lake waters. The existence of the temple called Pura Ulun Danu have significant importance for the locals nearby, believed as the guard of the lake. Mount Agung, The Mighty Volcano in Bali Island

Mount Agung known in Indonesia as Gunung Agung. In Bahasa Indonesia Gunung is Mount and Agung is Great or Mighty. It can be defined that the Mount Agung have very significant influences for the livings around the mount for its great name. Balinese traditional culture believe that Mount Agung is a replica of Mount Meru, the central axis of the universe. The most important temple on Bali, Pura Besakih, is high on the slopes of this mountain that treat as the mother of all temples in Bali. Mount Batur or Gunung Batur is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas in Bali Island, Indonesia. In line of north west of Mount Agung creating the Bali Island highlands. Mount Batur also have significant influence for the local livings in Bali Island. The Batur caldera inhabit 15 villages distributed inside and around the caldera outer line where the locals largely rely on agriculture for income. Bali Island known as the God's Island worldwide for its beautiful nature and culture. The island in middle south part of Indonesia got its famous decades ago as a tourist destination.
